X Is Rolling Out Expanded Capabilities For Its Grok AI Chatbot and Here’s What Users Can Expect

If you’re an avid user of the X platform then we’re sure you might have come across some interesting features that Elon Musk’s AI chatbot has to offer.

The company is said to be testing out an array of expanded capabilities on Grok and they’re making sure users are aware with clever marketing. The test began rolling out a few weeks back.

Today, the chatbot helps users design images, provide explanations, and even research on trending subjects if necessary. You’ll find the button for Grok on the sidebar while another can be seen on the window used to compose posts. If that wasn’t enough, they’ve also managed to include Grok in-stream for ads and one for post explainers across every piece of content published.

It’s quite clear that Musk and Co are keen on people using this anti-woke chatbot which is the reason behind the new features. Soon, X will roll out the changes mainstream as it hopes it can increase the number of posts on the app with better content composing options. This will also include a feature for suggestions about queries to ask Grok on certain material.

For the composer option, users can see in a new example shared by one app researcher how simple it is to generate an image with Grok’s post composer. You can even enhance posts through this means. All of this is accessible through the xAI icon.

So if you’d like to add AI-generated visuals to any posts and updates, you can with a click of a button. If cases you want to better your content or customize it for more engagement, again you can as more AI recommendations will launch soon.

Another option allows users to ‘Fix Facts’ which means it can limit inaccuracies and make sure content is up to date. However, given the chatbot’s own track record for misinformation, we’re not sure how reliable the option could end up being.

Some other offerings are available to shorten updates if you’ve crossed your excess limit for words. Another striking addition is the option to add a unique flair to transform posts into something more interesting.

Next, we have the feature that rolls out Grok-produced queries for posts published on the app. This can provide more context to updates and even include prompts with queries that you might have never thought about asking. The goal is to add more contextual understanding to a certain post.

It’s clear from these features that X wants to make AI a bigger portion of the entire in-app user experience. And they’re ensuring that through one form too many. The whole ordeal might seem to include a lot of artificial feels but again, other arch-rivals are doing the same.

Let’s take Meta for instance. It’s rolling out profiles with AI characters. Still, who knows? These new features could make the world smarter and ensure we’re more alert about what’s happening in our surroundings. It might even make the process of understanding simpler.
