Which Smart Ring is Best Suited for Fitness Enthusiasts?

Smart rings have become an emerging trend among people and many people have started preferring smart rings over smart watches. Wearing smart watches isn't always convenient as they are bulky, take time to charge and work for people who have tattoos or play sports. Smart rings, on the other hand, are small, have long battery lives and your heart data can be gathered accurately from your finger. Smart rings as a whole aren't going to take the place of smart watches anytime soon because they are costly especially if smart watches can do the same work for lesser prices.

So how to see which smart ring is the best. Victoria Song from The Verge used six smart rings currently on the market to find out which one is the best among them. These smart rings were Ultrahuman Ring Air, Samsung Galaxy Ring, Oura Ring, Evie Ring, RingConn and Circular Slim. She used all of these rings for some months and then reached a conclusion.

The accuracy of the smart rings is really important. Victoria Song found out that $294 Circular Slim is not anything it offers. The biggest problem with it is the accuracy and for a ring that is used for health tracking, accuracy is must. This was her least favorite ring among the smart rings. Evie Ring was also eliminated because there were issues of syncing and firmware updates. The $269 Evie Ring was the most beautiful and comfortable smart ring but it didn't have smooth features.

RingConn which is $279 isn't that bad and it has the longest battery span of six to nine days. It is a simple smart ring and is best for people who want a basic smart ring. Samsung Galaxy Ring ($400) is also a good smart ring with amazing hardware. It also has a good battery life but it works best with a Samsung Watch. You need a Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 to control the camera and dismiss notifications on Samsung Galaxy Ring.

The $349 Ultrahuman Ring Air is close to being the best smart ring. It has great accuracy, a good battery life and its companion app will give you suggestions for fitness and training. If you like training, you’ll like Ultrahuman Ring Air. Now coming to the ring which was at the top.

Oura Ring which is $299 is all you need in a smart ring. The Oura app is good at syncing, accuracy and gets updates frequently. The only demerit is that it charges $6 monthly fee. Other than that, it is a perfect smart ring to have.
