Telegram Offers Users New Exciting Features Including Gifting Options and Improved Tools

Telegram has certainly faced a lot of scrutiny recently after its CEO was arrested in France for shady activities linked to the app.

Now, the platform is vowing to get better and improve its content moderation. And with the latest updates come new and exciting changes. This will include access to innovative features and services, the company confirmed.

From sending gifts to getting brand verification codes and more, users can even report content through improved tools.

For starters, Telegram is allowing users to gift its premium subscription as a digital present. Users can even display received gifts through profiles. Moreover, users can purchase through the app’s Stars, built-in currency, and even convert gifts to get more app stars.

In other news, the app is rolling out a new and improved Verification Program. This is designed to give a company the chance to send verification codes instead of classic SMS. As per the app, it’s quicker, cost-effective, and safe when compared to other options out there today.

As far as pricing is concerned, it’s going to cost users just $0.01 per client. It’s different from your usual texts that take a long time to come. So what the app is promoting here is instant delivery.

The app also has better tools to use when reporting content. So far, the list of options to select from has different options for each theme. Similarly, the app hopes to update tools for reporting to be more relevant to modern times and events unfolding around the world. To send a report, simply right-click on the message and press the Report tab.

Last but not least, the platform has improved video chats for iPhone users, giving them another great performance experience. This will limit battery consumption and stop overheating during long-duration calls. You can find several different video feeds.

In case you’re wondering about Telegram on Android, it provides support for RTMP streaming that enables connections with the video feed for apps such as OBS Studio. RTMP was first rolled out for the app’s Desktop and for the iOS app in 2022. Thanks to the new update all of the app’s clients will show support for the latest system on Android phones.
