Google Is Slowly Rolling Out Its Video Search Feature For Google Lens

At this year’s I/O developer’s conference, tech giant Google previewed an exciting feature for Google Lens. One Android expert, Mishaal Rahman mentioned how the feature is now slowly getting accessible to Android users.

This new feature gives users the chance to ask questions about anything in their surroundings, right after they begin recording short videos. If you wish to learn more about anything in the clip, simply say it out loud and the video search initiative will explore that for you.

For example, if you need to activate a certain feature of your device that isn’t functioning properly for some reason, simply make a recording and ask why it won’t work as planned. Similarly, you can search for the model’s name that belongs to unknown devices that are right in front of your eyes.

As per the Android maker, the offering saves so much time and effort as you do not need to look for the right terms to describe any matter. After the question is asked, the Google Lens feature displays the AI Overview that explains the steps and materials needed to amend the issue.

To put it simply, users can send videos to Google and ask any question about it. How cool is that?

Simply open up the Google Lens on your Android device and hold down the key for a shutter. It would begin recording short clips that users can ask queries about later on. In case you’re in a part of the world where AI overviews stay enabled, you can get AI-based images as well.

The feature will reply with AI-based solutions if users have the AI Overviews feature enabled in their part of the world.

For now, we can confirm that the feature will be first available for those based in the US and in the English language. With time, we will see it expanding to other parts of the world as well.
