Forbes Unveils Top Creators List of 2024 With Bigger Earnings And Greater Global Influence

Forbes just rolled out its Top Creators List for 2024. The list features some known names who have made it big across various platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and more.

Those working as entrepreneurs appeared to lead the pack in the media and ad industry. They’re challenging the classic marketing strategies by entering their huge fan base and providing content that appeals to the masses.

As per the recent list published, the top 50 had a growing capital figure in the global economy too. The list of members had estimated earnings that hit the $720M mark, which is up $20M from the previous year. Similarly, there is massive audience growth where the creators have more than 2.75B total followers. This is again another massive growth from last year. It means the expansion in global reach is massive and their influence on different factors includes more appeal to Gen Z.

When putting together the Top Creators List, Forbes took several factors into consideration. This includes entrepreneurship, earnings, and also the ratio of followers to engagement. It gave rise to a formulate that can better gauge a creator.

Top Creators Drive $720M Economy in Forbes’ 2024 List, Led by MrBeast and TikTok Stars

It’s no surprise as to who topped the list. It was Mr. Beast who snatched the top position again. Meanwhile, other stars included several big names on TikTok like Alix Earle, Nara Smith, and Addison Rae. It was also interesting to see newbies rake in a lot of fame and fortune despite launching the app this year. Amongst those were Amelie Zilber and iJustine.

The list is proof that the creator economy is at its peak and continues to achieve more success. Creators are making the most of their presence and fanbase. Some are working to entertain while others are shifting to promote their own business and brands. So what was once thought of as a mere industry based on selfies is no longer that. It’s designing streaming studios and with time, we feel it will get bigger and stronger.

Working alongside the Top Creators List, Forbes plans to host the Creator Upfronts in collaboration with Walmart Creator. This is the first of its kind and will detail more of the world’s biggest innovative creators that influence big brands and feature various panel discussions featuring the world’s biggest content creators.
