Microsoft Seemingly Removes The Waitlist For Its New Bing Chat

It’s big news in the world of Microsoft as it appears the software giant has gotten rid of the waitlist designed for its new Bing Search.

This means anyone and everyone can sign up and make use of the latest variant GPT-4 chatbot. Clearly, this is major news as spotted by media outlet Windows Central. It claims those that are trying to sign up can access the revolutionary feature easily as it gets unlocked at the click of a button.

The Verge was seen testing the feature on several different accounts and then we saw access be given on an immediate basis, combined with email confirmation.

Hence, if you really wish to gain access to the new feature by Microsoft Bing then all you need to do is head on over to the website and press the button that features the tab ‘join waitlist’ and then sign in through the account on Microsoft. On that note, you would attain immediate access.

The media outlet did go on to question Microsoft if it really did remove the waitlist or if users were seeing a bug. And the response generated included how so many different tests were being conducted that accelerates the entire process for some using the new Bing chat.

You do end up remaining in the preview and you can end up signing to Bing.com.

The change comes just one day after the software giant confirmed details about how its AI Bing chatbot was running on the latest generation variant of GPT-4. And that was an industry secret that was not hidden too well as it was speculated quite frequently in the past.

Interestingly, the removal of the waitlist is also arising at a time when we are about to see the company host an event where it would be discussing AI additions related to Office productivity.

We are trying hard to see how Microsoft’s new lookalike AI feature to ChatGPT is going to work across different Office apps such as Teams, Outlook, and Word. Moreover, the new AI-powered chatbot was also delineated to include new sidebars across the Microsoft Edge browser.

So as you can see, there are plenty of changes coming forward in this project, considering it was unveiled just last month. And that’s also when we saw the launch of its waitlist on that very same day.
