According to India’s IT minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw, around 100 6G patents have been acquired by multiple institutions throughout the country with all things having been considered and taken into account.
With 5G coverage now extending to just under 400 Indian towns, the stage is set for India to move on to 6G far earlier than might have been the case otherwise. That will allow them to surpass other nations that have not yet been able to fully rollout 5G despite their advanced stages of development.
