If you’re a fan of Microsoft News then we’re sure you’d know by now that Microsoft has this one habit that not a lot of people love.
Time after time, the tech giant has been seen forcing more adverts and promos to its Windows. And the next venture in line to achieve just that is Windows 11.
Users are going to have to embrace the annoyance that comes with it but this time around, it comes with an added twist. And that’s related to the feature getting disabled through Windows only.
Every firm is entitled to promote its own products so it makes sense why it’s doing this but the fact that users don’t need to get pestered is just wonderful news we feel.
We’ve seen Microsoft busy at work trying to test out ads in its File Explorer and also its Windows 11 Microsoft Store. But now, it appears that this might move forward to Windows 11 and its Start Menu too, as spotted by @Albacore.
Microsoft is most likely testing out this feature at this moment in beta so those who have it can give it a shot by disabling it. Be sure to use a stable Windows 11 connection to avoid unnecessary bugs from interfering.

FYI: if you don't like the idea of having start menu badges like this one show up and you're on Dev (where this is rolling out), you can use ViVeTool to disable the feature:
