A lot of users were very eager to get this function because of the fact that this is the sort of thing that could potentially end up allowing them to diversify their usage of the messaging app instead of being restricted to smartphone based usage.

This feature will assign names to various devices so that you can see what device a particular message was sent from. Most users would want a feature like this, but in spite of the fact that this is the case it appears that this is only being developed for Business users.
