WhatsApp Works on Numerous New Updates Including Potential Second Phone Linking Option

WhatsApp has been working on quite a few new updates, as reported by WBI, with one of the most prominent of these being the ability to link multiple devices to your WhatsApp account. Many users started taking advantage of this feature rather quickly because of the fact that this is the sort of thing that could potentially end up allowing them to stay connected to others, but there was a restriction that many were not all that happy with.

This restriction was that you could only link devices that weren’t smartphones such as tablet computers or laptops. With all of that having been said and now out of the way, it is important to note that WhatsApp is working on a new feature that might allow you to set use WhatsApp on up to two smartphones at the same time. An upcoming version of WhatsApp will include a new page for companion devices, and users can go to this page to link a secondary smartphone that can serve as a backup.

Another features that beta testers have noted on WhatsApp so far (after iOS and Desktop) is a potential group poll feature for Android users. Users would be able to come up with polls by filling information into a form and then share it with a group that they are a part of. This can be helpful for conducting surveys and improving how people feel about the groups that they tend to use regularly, and improving group membership is another big priority for WhatsApp as well as for its parent company.
