WhatsApp is one of the leading messaging platforms in the world. They are not only known for their fast messaging services, but also for their audio and video calling features. The app is an all-in-one package which is free and requires nothing but a stable Wifi.
WhatsApp has been really proactive when it comes to developing new features. Throughout the years, we’ve seen that they are trying to regain their charm which they once had in the starting years of their existence. With different apps coming into the market, WhatsApp seemed to fall behind the 8 ball in terms of their features and quality. But this setback didn’t stop them.
The company is seen to be working on many new features. One of the features that we are eager to see is the new “Community Home” update. This update would allow users to manage all of their groups from a single place. This means that the community home would serve as the home of groups as far as the user is concerned.
It would be a really great tool for users and admins because they will be able to keep track of all of their groups and moreover they can navigate through them quite easily. Another feature that users will have up their sleeves would be the edit community feature.
Apart from this new Community Home feature, WhatsApp has been working on another feature where users will be able to use pencils and pens. This means that users will now be able to draw and edit their pictures and videos with the help of different pencils.
Profile picture is also a new feature that WhatsApp has been working on for a while. Whenever we would get a message, the notification bar would only show us the name of the sender, but now when this new feature gets rolled out, we will be able to see their profile pictures along with their names.
Voice note preview is also another excellent feature. This feature would allow users to review and listen to their voice notes before sending them out so that they can rectify any mistakes they made in them.
The app has been working on the “Community Home” feature since November. We don’t really know the exact dates as to when they will be sending out this new feature but the company has confirmed that the feature would be patched out soon for both Android and IOS devices.
