Whenever, users tapped on the emoji or sticker button present on the left in the compose section, they get to write a word like sad, happy, love, sorry and stickers tend to appear relevant to the word, but now WhatsApp is attempting to recommend stickers depending on the first word they type in the text box. This way, a new touch will be there in the emoji shortcut with recommendations. These small changes tend to improve the overall experience of messaging on WhatsApp. Once the emoji button is clicked, the keyboard will disappear leaving space for set of stickers from the sticker bundles that are connected to what is typed in the text box.
WABetaInfo was able to unlock this function in a forthcoming variant of WhatsApp but it is not available to the general public yet. The suggestions are limited to first-party sticker packs as mentioned by the company, however, third-party developers verified that they can easily introduce emoji with stickers.
