The kind of brand loyalty that a company can inspire in its various customers can be crucial to its longevity because of the fact that this is the sort of thing that could potentially end up making it so that users would only ever want to buy from that specific company which can subsequently result in some pretty incredible profit margins if you think about it. Apple as a company has done pretty well in this regard, and a recent survey conducted by Sellcell, a used smartphone seller, has revealed that this brand loyalty is higher than ever before.
This survey involved asking around 3,000 people, all of whom were over the age of 17, what their opinions were about various products that Apple currently has available for them to purchase after their April announcements which revealed a wide range of new products that are out there. A whopping 92.6% of respondents said that they plan on continuing to purchase Apple products instead of deciding to switch to a competitor due to an objective analysis of what said competitor may or may not be offering that Apple might not be able to measure up to.
It is important to note that the latest version of iOS, namely version 14.5, is a major contributor to what has resulted in people being so loyal to Apple after all of these years. This latest version of iOS has brought with it a powerful new privacy feature that can result in users being able to opt out of the previously mandatory tracking that a lot of social media apps such as Facebook relied on for a source of revenue.
It’s pretty clear that Apple’s focus on protecting the privacy of its consumers has paid off in a really big way. Even though it has created certain problems with Facebook which is pushing back against these privacy settings by attempting to claim that they will hurt small businesses, 73% of respondents agree with the privacy policies that are now being rolled out so whether or not it is in Facebook’s and other platforms’ best interests, it most definitely seems to be something that consumers have wanted for quite some time now and only Apple seems to be willing to give it to them partly due to the reason that the company does not profit from mining user data.
As far as newer products that Apple is offering, AirTags appear to be the most popular of the lot with 61% of respondents saying that they plan on buying them at some point or another. 42% of these future buyers say that they felt like AirTags offer great value for money which should come as a surprise to Apple critics many of whom attempt to disparage Apple by claiming that their products are too expensive, something that clearly doesn’t impact the image that loyal buyers tend to have regarding the company.
Apple has done really well these past few years which has allowed it to become the most valuable company in the world, and this indicates that the good times are going to continue for a really long while.
