Heading in the right direction, 800,000 computer programming jobs have been created since March 2020, spanning across the US, UK, Australia, Japan and the EU.

Job positions that require skills in analytics industry could include head of analytics, marketing campaign analyst, and a project management apprenticeship. Similarly, the second most in-demand skill is ‘operating and communication with clients via Facebook’, which includes posting updates and interacting with a brand’s customers.
The third most in-demand skill is Agile, the software development and project management tool, with 35 percent of the 1,000 posts analyzed mentioning it. Agile helps teams deliver value to customers quicker with less stumbling blocks.

From the 1,000 job posts analyzed, ‘knowledge of analytics’ is the most in-demand job skill, with the ability featuring in over a third (37%) of the job posts analyzed - perhaps a skill to hone in on if you’re looking to work in the digital marketing field. Skills on the rise
Perhaps surprisingly, the skills that didn’t appear in the top 30 for most in-demand skills in job posts are blogging, TikTok, Snapchat and photography. Blogging comes in at 38th most in-demand, whereas photography is 45th. Whilst these skills are popular in our social and personal lives, it suggests that these skills are not needed as highly when it comes to applying for social media roles.Skilled sectors
Almost half (44%) of the job posts analyzed required skills within the development industry, making it the most skilled sector. Java, APIs, LINUX, Scrum & Python were all mentioned in job posts within the development sector. There are over 8.2 million developers that use Python in the industry, and 7.6 million that use Java. By 2023, it’s estimated that there will be over 27.7 million developers in the world, meaning that choosing one of these systems to be trained in will be well received on your job application.
