If there is one thing that a lot of people criticize Apple for, including Apple’s own customers, it’s the fact that iPhones often don’t have very long lasting batteries. While the battery life tends to be quite good at first, it depreciates quite rapidly and there are actually quite a few causes for this sort of thing. Apple often fixes these issues but they do tend to arise from time to time, and the latest example of a battery related problem that iPhone users are facing has come after the rollout of the latest version of Apple’s iOS.
The patched version of iOS 14 has been widely criticized for reducing the battery life of most iPhones that are out there at this current point in time. Another common complaint is that their iPhones are heating up while they are on charge, and because of the fact that this is the sort of thing that could potentially end up damaging the phone many users have become rightfully concerned about this sort of thing.
Hundreds of users have now made similar complaints, and with all of that having been said and now out of the way it is important to note that there actually isn’t all that much consistency to these complaints. Some users claim that activities like calling or texting end up draining their iPhone battery, whereas others are saying that even their idle iPhones are losing battery life a lot more quickly than they should. The fact that so many issues have been reported does seem to indicate that there is a legitimate problem though, and it is one that Apple might want to fix as soon as possible lest it frustrate iPhone owners to the point where they begin to consider switching to some other phone manufacturer other than Apple.
