According to tweets by Alessandro Paluzzi, Instagram is working on several updates to make its ‘Reels’ feature stand out.
One of them is the ‘Remix’ feature that will be integrated within the Reels. While much has not been shared by the social media network, Alessandro reveals that the new Remix would allow users to create music videos side-by-side. A download option would also be available, allowing other creators to download videos as part of their remix creation.
Moreover, the screenshot shared by Alessandro indicates that the Remix option can be disabled anytime through the Settings option.
Another feature highlighted by Alessandro is the ‘Broadcast Audience.’ According to screenshot that Alessandro shares, through this feature, we would be able to limit Live viewership either public or private. In Public setting means your followers will get notifcations once you go live and in private "Your followers will not be notified and your live video will not appear in the stories tray. However, you can still invite people to join your live".
It is yet unknown if the feature is for the Reels or some other Instagram module.
For that, we will have to wait for the official announcement by Adam Mosseri and the team. Till then, stay with us at Digital Information World for the latest tech and social media news.
