Twitter recently started incorporating various topics into the kinds of tweets that people could see at any given point in time. This meant that you could subscribe to specific topics after which you would be able to see tweets that relate to those topics. One important impact that this has is that it allows users to stay up to date on the things that matter to them, something that has started to become the primary use for Twitter for a lot of users.
Now, Twitter is trying to push Topics even harder. It is doing this by showing users Topics tweets in their timelines. This means that users would not have to go to a specific section in order to be able to access these tweets. Content that you are interested in is always welcome after all, although it is important to note that some users might not like this sort of thing because of the fact that they would want a bit of separation between tweets from accounts that they have chosen to follow and tweets that come from topics that they are interested in. After all, not every tweet about a topic is going to truly end up piquing your interest.
With all of that having been said and now out of the way, it is important to note that this change is now being rolled out which means that many users are going to have to change the way they use this platform.
