To find out the answer to these questions and more, Valuegraphics conducted a survey to determine the values which influence humans. The aim was to uncover the areas of life that people care the most about.
In this regard, Valuegraphics uncovered half a million surveys in 152 languages and came up with a list of 56 values. Some of these values are universally recognized while there are some characteristics that vary according to the country.

Similarly, ‘religion’ and ‘personal growth’ were listed on the number 8 and 6 respectively. But relative to other countries, the value of religion and traditions ranked the lowest in Europe.
‘Employment security’ and ‘financial security’ was also ranked in the top 10 globally.
Meanwhile, terms like ‘respect’ and ‘compassion’ fell closer to the top as well.
Take, for example, the term ‘morality.’ all across the world. As per the data collected by Valuegraphics, ‘morality’ holds the second-most important position in the Middle East. On the contrary, the same term comes near the bottom in Central and South America.
Another value that varies dramatically across the globe is ‘patience.’
While the Africans give it much importance and place it amongst the top 5, other countries rank it midway at #26 throughout.
Additionally, the global value of ‘authority’ was found to be at an average of number 30. However, the Middle East and North America ranked it at an equal place of number 17.
