Statistics Show That One-Third of Microsoft Windows 10 Devices Have May 2020 Update Installed Inside Them

Wondering where the different versions of Windows 10 stand in terms of market share? Well, AdDuplex has just released the numbers and according to the data provided, Windows 10 May 2020 update is now a part of over one-third of computers - with some exceptions to follow.

These statistics are from the month of September 2020 and looking at the infographic below, nearly 34.5% of the market is being captivated by Windows 10 v1909. Then, second on the list is Windows 10 with May 2020 update that has jumped up to 33.7% this month from 24.1% in August 2020.

Windows 10 May 2019 update has further dropped down to 33.5% and at last, is 0.5% of the users who still rely on Windows 10 Insider Builds.

Despite being the most accurate every time, the only drawback of the data provided by AdDuplex is that their figures are based on checking almost 150,000 PCs that had UWP store apps installed. So, with such little amount, one cannot estimate the whole picture or how the current updates stand head to head in all of the computers around the globe.

However, as lately Microsoft has pushed the Update culture more aggressively, one can expect similar outcomes if all of the computers running at the moment in different parts of the world are considered.
