In a series of updates that Whatsapp is reportedly working on in recent times, there is another addition in the list which is associated to a big iPhone exclusive feature of the app that now might come soon to the Android devices as well.
At the start of last month, The WhatsApp sleuths at WABetaInfo, reported that the beta release of the new version of Facebook-owned chat app was working on delivering new customization options for users which were based on letting them set up the conversation tab or group chat within the app just the way they would like.
This list of new customization options included adding a different background wallpaper for every conversation inside the app - which is indeed an incremental update from the default wallpaper option that only allowed users to pick one background wallpaper for all chats previously.
Although there was enough variety in the form 39 wallpaper designs, as well as 36 solid colors or users could put up any of their own images stored on their camera roll as the background but that customization wasn’t still enough for many.
But now as Whatsapp has paid attention to it and some lucky iOS users have also spotted the near feature in Whatsapp for iOS, this new feature under development could also turn out to be great for Android fans as well.
And once if it gets implemented well, Whatsapp would be loved more once again as people would have the liberty to put up a picture of their loved one while having a chat with them, or even an embarrassing photo of their friends for a group chat.
For now, there is no confirmation on when will the feature roll out in the beta version of the Android App but according to WABetaInfo, there is enough surety that this possibility is happening soon.
