However, a new modded version of the game reimagines the Dino Game with added features without taking away the simplicity and fun of this game.
The new version is called Dino Swords and was developed by 100 Thieves and MSCHF. Users can play the Dino Swords game on their Chrome browser and press the space key to jump and avoid cacti. The game gets faster as it progresses just like the Dino Game, however, there are new additions. The new mod version gives the T-Rex an assortment of various tools to use. You will find 26 different weapons to use, which are allocated to different buttons on the keyboard. For example, users can use the ‘G’ button to use ‘Holy Water.’ You will have to grab small birds flying over to unlock new weapons in the game, and the list includes arrow, bow, gun, helicopter, tank, swords, and many more.
Head of strategy at MSCHF, Daniel Greenberg, told media outlets that the Dino game is the final holdover from the golden age of things such as Miniclip games. Users can also enter their name as well as email address to save their high score. It is important to note that there is a leadership board and an all-time high and a daily board is included in this leadership board. The owner and CEO of 100 Thieves, Matthew Nadeshot Haad, told that there are some prizes for those individuals who can prove that they are the best Dino Swords players. According to MSCHF, the highest score will win a prize after one week. However, it is not yet clear that what those prizes will be.
