Social media consultant Matt Navarra and Ahmed Ghanem have just discovered a new feature ‘under test mode’ for Instagram Stories. According to the tweets shared by them, this feature would enable a dual camera for your Stories.
Although the functionalities of the new feature are still unclear, we could determine that the option would give users the ability to put Stories with two cameras (both front and rear). The layout for the second camera can also be changed – round-shaped, square, and rectangle.
Instagram has not yet given any official statement regarding the update. However, with Facebook putting in a lot of effort on the Instagram Stories feature, we can expect this one to roll out soon as well.
In fact, with multiple options for the camera, it is very easy for the users to create compelling Instagram stories to attract their followers.
Facebook-owned Instagram launched its Stories platform in 2016. Since its inception, the feature has received immense popularity and garners almost 500 million users every day. Recently, Instagram also announced its plan to integrate advertisements in IGTV - its stand-alone app for long-form videos.
