Social media networks competing and copying each other’s top-ranking features is a common protocol of the industry. Whether it’s Instagram going for Snapchat’s Stories or Facebook ripping off Twitter’s Vine by integrating videos – we have seen it all.
However, we sense a new battle heating up as Pinterest may remove Facebook Messenger from its sharing option. This news was revealed by reverse engineering specialist, Jane Manchun Wong on her official Twitter handle.
Although no other description was available with her claim, Twitteratis did respond with exasperation and called it a weird move. One Twitter user also said that this was the start of ‘Social Wars 2020.’

According to her tweet, the updated UI will give users the ability to change layout and color of the captions that they include with their pins.
