This opens new use cases to the web, including providing information about museum exhibits, inventory management, providing information in a conference badge, and many others.", announced Chromium team in a blog post.However, some would criticize this update because of the fact that it might be seen as anti competitive. Google is trying to make it so that as many users as possible use their own browser rather than installing and downloading other apps, and this will certainly contribute to the Google monopoly in a really big way. Tech monopolies are terrible because it makes it so that the company that owns a lot of services no longer has to innovate, but since this is an update that is going to make people’s lives easier it seems likely that it will not raise all that many eyebrows at present.
