October 2019 has been a good month for Microsoft, bringing its topmost position in the market. After the launch of Windows 10, the operating system has captured almost 55% of the market share as compared to other operating systems.
Apart from the operating system, the web browser has also managed to cover at least a little in the market share. Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer was seen on the list, which is already big news!
Currently, Windows 10 occupies at least 54.32% of the market share; whereas, Windows 7 occupies 26.90% of the market share. On the other hand, macOS 10.14 captures only 5.16% of the market share. Around 25% of the users have switched from Windows 7 to Windows 10, which is good news for the company.
In the browser section, Google Chrome managed to capture 67.39% of the market followed by Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge on the list.
Right now, more and more people are switching to Windows 10, which is great for the company. However, they still have to convince a lot of their users to move to Windows 10 before end-of-support of the Windows 7.
