Despite their attempts to simplify the menu on their Chrome browser, the users continue to push Google to bring back the menu items every time they remove one.
The same happened when Google removed the ‘close tabs to the right’ option recently. And just today, Chromium’s team confirmed that they are (probably) bringing back the ‘close other tabs’ option that was recently removed.
Seems like Google is constantly fighting a losing battle against their consumer base. However, we suggest that the company stops making the changes to the ‘tabs’ and instead focus on the other aspects (including security) of their browser.
