According to a post from app researcher Jane Manchun Wong, Instagram is currently working on a new feature that would provide users an ability to prevent the tags by random accounts. With this new feature, Instagram users will have a specified setting in which they could allow tags from everyone or people they follow and users can also turn off the tags from other accounts too.
With this new feature, we won’t have to worry about getting tagged in random giveaways anymore. Although there is no official announcement from Instagram itself but if it is true we are really excited about it and looking forward to it to launch sooner.
