This new Up Next feature on videos is created to bring ease for the users to either watch or cancel the upcoming video. There are two side-by-side buttons on the screen to either Cancel or Play Now. the button’s size is easier to interact. For now, the Google-owned platform is just testing this feature on Android devices. It is easy to use because of its larger touch buttons.
According to a report by 9to5Google, the button to cancel can also be accomplished with an X (cross) in the top-right corner of the screen. In the top left corner, there is a numeric countdown that helps users to identify the number of seconds left before the next video begins.
To test the interface, a large preview thumbnail is also included with title and uploaded details next to it. Along with that, the new cancel button is easier to interact and tap without any sort of problems at all.
This test interface has only been spotted on the app version 14.31.50 of YouTube.
To eliminate the hate speech and racist comments from the platform of YouTube, in the early June YouTube tested hiding video comments by default in some countries.
On the same app version 14.31.50 of YouTube, a feature named live screen-casting was released. This new feature is also available in the Go live section of YouTube Gaming app.
