In this modern day and age, we all have digital assistants in our pockets. These smart assistants are a part of our phones, but have you ever wondered which digital assistant is the best? There are three candidates for the top spot, with each candidate bringing something new and unique to the table although at the end of the day all of them are similar in the kind of services they provide its various users that are trying to take advantage of the numerous features.
The three candidates are Google Assistant, Apple’s Siri and Amazon’s Alexa. According to LoupVentures study, Google Assistant manages to get to the top spot in spite of the fact that a lot of Apple fans would consider Siri to be far superior. The metric by which Google Assistant was given the top spot has to do with the accuracy with which the digital assistant managed to answer a query that was posted. Even though Siri does fairly well in this regard, Google Assistant clinches the top spot and assures that Google still reigns supreme in the world of tech and AI in spite of some pretty decent competition.
Amazon’s Alexa comes in third, but that doesn’t mean that the digital assistant doesn’t have a lot to offer. In fact, in terms of how fast each digital assistant is learning, Amazon’s Alexa was found to be learning the fastest so a time may very well come when Alexa is the most accurate digital assistant in terms of answering questions and the like.
Also, even though Google Assistant beat out Siri in overall accuracy of answers to queries, as far as responding to commands is concerned Siri outperforms Google Assistant by a fair amount showing that Apple does have something unique to offer through the digital assistant that they provide in their phones.
