Once again Apple struck and trolled Facebook and Google by putting up a billboard to create an awkward situation for tech giants.
The advertisement was placed by Apple next to Google’s sister company, SideWalk Labs in Toronto. One tech giant mocked the other over privacy issues. The billboard read “We’re in the business of staying out of yours”.
The parent company of Google and SideWalk labs, Alphabet is planning to cover the 12-acre waterfront neighborhood by mounting sensors. These sensors will observe people’s actions and conduct in that area.
The company is favoring the creation of an independent organization that will ensure data privacy and that it is not being sold secretly from users.
Residents of Toronto, however, have reservations regarding the proposed law.

Opposite to “Hey Google” slogan, Apple placed an ad saying “What happens on your iPhone, stays on your iPhone”.
Apple’s business model does not rely on using the data of users and this is what the company often flaunts about. But Apple is not totally secure as many Google apps are being used on the iPhone.
