As always our favorite social media apps sleuth Jane Manchun Wong brings us latest updates – long before the company reveals them. This time the platform under her radar is Instagram.
According to her tweets, the Facebook-owned app is working on using AI technology to suggest the best pictures for your posts and Stories. This will be enabled through a ‘Suggested Photos’ tab in the Post Content Creator Camera roll picker.
Another feature is the implementation of the AR in the Stories Effect. Jane explains that through this feature, the users can add any effect to their existing photos and share with their followers. For example, the users can add ski slopes to the backgrounds of their images when in reality they are sitting on the sofa only.
Currently, the features are in their test phase but just like every Instagram-fan, we cannot wait for them to roll out in our respective apps and try them out.
