LinkedIn is Reportedly Working on a Number of Updates for its Android App!

The Professional Networking platform, LinkedIn is reportedly testing out a number of updates/features for its Android app. These features, if rolled out soon and work according to the users’ expectations, can prove to be game changers for LinkedIn.

Apps Code Hacker, Jane Manchun Wong can be credited for spotting these features. Wong also included a couple of screenshots, along with her tweets, so users can get a sneak peek as well.

Firstly, the Job Alerts settings are being worked on. With the help of these settings, you will be able to express interest to employers and recruiters at companies you have enabled alerts for. So, whenever there is a job opening at that company, the recruiters will be notified of your interest. According to the screenshot, it will be accessed via privacy settings.

The second feature in development has generated quite a buzz. It will be accessed via Account Settings and will allow you to manage Microsoft Accounts Connection settings. In other words, you will have the authority to decide which Microsoft Accounts can have access to your LinkedIn data.

A few people have claimed that the Account Connection settings are already available on iOS. On the other hand, people are also curious about how much access to the Microsoft accounts, will this move give to LinkedIn.

There’s no word yet regarding when the company plans on rolling out these features but from the screenshots shared by Wong, it looks like most of the work has been done already. We will keep you updated!
