Google’s I/O developer conference this year had an eventful kickoff. Until now, the Tech Giant has revealed a lot of new updates and features that should be added soon. A ground-breaking addition to Google search was also announced, when it was revealed that Google would be bringing the camera and augmented reality (AR) to Search.
The company also gave a demonstration. For starters, you can look up, let’s just say, “great white shark”. You will then have the option to see the shark swimming right in front of you through your phone’s camera.
According to Google CEO Sundar Pichai, the company’s goal is to make Google more helpful for everyone and instead of just helping users find answers, it should be able to get things done as well.
Pichai believes that one way to start this change is through Search. The new feature can easily allow you to switch to AR Experience from a simple search in the Google app and that’s quite intriguing. Stay tuned for more details regarding this massive development.
