Facebook has been undergoing some changes for the past few months. From minor design changes to introduction of exciting features, the Social Media Giant has a lot going on.
According to renowned code hacker Jane Manchun Wong, Facebook is currently working on a sorting tool for managing Friend List. The available sorting options will be Default (alphabetical), Newest Friend First and Oldest Friend First. Many creators might not be surprised with this update, considering that Instagram already has sorting enabled for managing Followers. Regardless, it can be a helpful addition.
Wong then proceeded to post another tweet regarding another interesting development, this time for Messenger though. The update in question is individual voice clip transcription, in addition to a new “Voice to Text” setting page.
According to Wong’s screenshot, users will be asked if they wish to enable “Voice to Text” in the chat. If they do, text of the sent and received voice clips will be shown. The transcription will also be shown to the person you are chatting with. In addition to that, the feature’s visibility can be controlled for each chat.
The option, when rolled out, will easily be found along with Messenger’s settings.
It remains to be seen when Facebook decides to roll out these features but we will keep you updated with every development in this story.
