According to tech blogger and app researcher, Jane Manchun Wong, Facebook is currently making some changes to the existing layout of its Stories feature. In her Twitter handle, she revealed that the new layout will feature a bottom bar for adding Stickers, Text, Effects, and Draw.
Additionally, the buttons on the top right will act as a shortcut for specific stickers. Her tweet also showed the ‘under development’ layout of the Stories composer that will also provide an option to add Studio Effect along with Privacy options on the right of the screen.
Currently, Facebook aims to make its Stories feature an integral part of the social media network. In fact, the social media giant aims to make it more prominent than the timelines and is constantly working on ways to develop the feature further. The revamped layout of the Stories composer is another tactic by the company to make the Stories feature more appealing to the users.
Facebook Stories currently sees around 500 million daily users. Although, it was developed as a competitor of the Instagram Stories – the feature is not as popular as the latter. However, it is growing slowly – and steadily.
Facebook has not yet acknowledged the new update of its Stories tools but just like the other discoveries made by Wong, we can expect the same to launch sometime soon.
