According to Priori Data, in April, the total number of downloads of top 10 Android apps in the world was 306 million.
Apps owned by Facebook including WhatsApp, Messenger and Facebook Lite pulling in a total 154 million downloads. More than half of the downloads on the list.
Whatsapp tops the list with 75.81 million downloads. The world’s most popular instant messaging service has been under Facebook’s ownership since a $19 billion buyout in early 2014.
Facebook Messenger boasted 50.3 million downloads in Google play store, last month.
Whereas, Facebook lite — an android app that was created to run on low-speed internet and low-end devices — was downloaded by 27.7 million users.
TikTok, Stack Ball, Run Race 3D, Garena Free Fire, Color Bump 3D, Twist Hit, and Homescapes were also in the list.
