Twitter Might Bring An Account Switching Option To Its Web Version

It’s time to ditch Twitcher as Twitter is finally testing out the subtle addition of a native account switcher option for all those users who operate two or more accounts on the social media site.

Using multiple accounts at a single time might feel like a very complicated task but it is rapidly becoming the prime choice for many Twitteratis (especially social media managers) around the globe. In most of the cases, the secondary account that they use represent a business or trolls (that have dominated the trends lately).
Twitter testing its own native account switching feature
The revelation was first made by Jane Manchun Wong, a reverse engineer expert, who first tweeted a screenshot of how Twitter is making the use of two or more accounts possible on web. If we closely observe the image, users can choose to log into the additional accounts with a plus sign in the control panel, that is located right next to the profile picture.

It is important to note that Twitter natively supports managing multiple accounts via its iOS and Android apps, whereas the newly spotted feature is currently getting tested for the web version (ideally for desktop and laptop users), as a number of apps are already available in the market to make the same possible on the web.

We’re still not sure about when Twitter will officially launch it for all of its users, but if all goes well in the testing phase, then you will soon be free from the hassles of using separate tools to do so.
