Facebook Reactions are about to have cool 3D emojis, a change in its color gradient and improved animation, as revealed by the back-end code of the app.
Jane Manchun Wong, an app researcher, tweeted about how new color styles will look like, giving Reactions more depth and cartoonish feel.
A report published last year showed that Reactions are becoming increasingly popular among users, especially the ‘Angry’ reaction, making it a key feature for many.
Recent tweaks in Facebook algorithms have given Reactions some significant boost as compare to simply ‘Like’ button, plus, reactions also help marketers get a better response from their audience.
Reactions have also received a positive response in the Instagram and Facebook stories, letting people accustomed to their networks. Noticing its popularity, LinkedIn is also working on its own version of Reactions.
Facebook's new animojis will not change anything substantial but would be a fun development for the Facebook users after it rolled out.
Update: Several users (both mobile and web) are claiming that the feature is already live and working from past few days.
