Whatsapp for Android has been pretty active recently in developing their latest feature which will let users search an image on the Web directly from their existing chats. As per a report by WhatsApp beta tracker WABetaInfo, the new option will appear as ‘Search Image’ in the chat box. In order to have access to it, the user will select an image from the chat and upload it to Google for results.
The Search Image feature will be available in the latest version of WhatsApp for Android and further details have also revealed that WhatsApp will use Google APIs to enable the image search functionality. This will indeed be a massive move to stop the circulation of fake news and misinformation on the instant messaging platform.
Moreover, the latest version of WhatsApp for Android 2.19.73 has brought a much needed addition in emojis as well. In the emoji menu, users will now get to see a transgender flag along with the LGBT and UN flags.
