Despite a scandalous year, Facebook continues to live up to its reputation of being the leading social media giant by frequently introducing new features and updating its services to keep the users engaged.
This time it is all geared up to allow users to format their texts on Groups.
According to a tweet by digital and social media consultant Matt Navarra, Facebook will soon roll out text formatting options to Groups.
Currently, when posting in Groups, the users are limited to background options only. With the implementation of the new feature, users can modify the font and add bullet points as well. The screenshot of a Facebook group posted by Matt Navarra also shows an option for H1 and H2 heading.
The feature was first announced back in February. As of yet, no date for the full roll-out has been announced but with Facebook aiming to enhance its Group feature, we can expect the integration very soon.
Let us know in the comments below your views on the upcoming feature.

I have it, hate it, and how do I get rid of it?????
ReplyDeleteHow do we turn it off?!?!?
ReplyDeleteI am seeing it now and found it very confusing till I found your information here. I say confusing because it shows up in my Group posts but not in my posts on my own page.
ReplyDeleteI also can't find anything about it in Facebook's Help files.
I also can't find a way to turn it off! I don't like it because I often copy text into my Group posts and it messes them up with its automatic formatting.
Thanks!
How can i disable this feature ?
