The new Facebook page layout has surprised a lot of users and if your page has looked different for a while (which you also liked) then unfortunately it is all gone now as the development team has confirmed that it was just a bug.
Facebook has recently been experimenting a lot with its user interface. Previously, the page layout was based on three columns for showing information, recent posts and options to jump to any part of the profile. But the recent bug had cut it down to only two in which static details about the page were pushed to the right while recent posts were shown in the feed on the left side.
Apart from the column change, the content overall looked way more tidy and organised. Those who were able to capture a glimpse of it also shared the screenshots which showed too much of eye-appealing white space that was also bringing emphasis on thumbnails attached in the posts.
Well, seems like some bugs can turn out to be great. However, if we go by the previous reports, then Facebook will continue to bring such subtle changes with an aim to make things easier for businesses when they interact with its customers online.

But alas, the social media giant reverted the layout back to its original design and apologized for the inconvenience in an statement to Cnet. Furthermore, they also revealed that this new look of Pages was created by a bug that appeared in the desktop version of Facebook.
