#Shotoniphone was all over the internet ever since Apple announced it earlier this year to promote the creativity of its valued customers. Another way to look at the competition can be as a marketing gimmick which lets consumers bring proofs of how well the iPhone cameras perform in real life situations. Nevertheless, Apple fans from all around the world came up with some of the most stunning shots one can ever imagine to capture from an iPhone.
It must have been really hard to decide the best photographs among all the entries but the company has recently announced the results by sharing the winning photos via its Newsroom.
The ten fortunate winners are Alex Jiang, Blake Marvin, Elizabeth Scarrott, Andrew Griswold, Bernard Antolin, and LieAdi Darmawan who showed up with their skills while living inside the U.S. But apart from that, there were some international photographers too that managed to impress Apple like Darren Soh who is from Singapore, Nikita Yarosh from Belarus, Dina Alfasi (Israel) and Robert Glaser, a crazy Apple fan from Germany.

Together these winners have captured some remarkable moments with different iPhone models ranging from iPhone XS max to iPhone 7. The selected winners will have their work featured on billboards, Apple retail stores and the company’s official website. Moreover, the icing on the cake for these photographers would be a license fee for their amazing work.
Apple had put together an international collection of judges to decide the winners fairly, which included Pete Souza, Austin Mann, Annet de Graaf, Luísa Dörr, Chen Man, Kaiann Drance, Brooks Kraft, Sebastien Marineau-Mes, Jon McCormack, and Arem Duplessis. They were assisted by the marketing head Phil Schiller.
Smartphones are becoming better at taking photos with every passing day and iPhone has been the industry leader with its HDR technology in this. Besides that, Apple truly knows how to make the customers love their cameras even more and may be that is why the #shotoniphone trend remains on Instagram throughout the year.
