iPhones are some of the most popular smartphones in the world, so it is understandable that a social media giant such as Facebook will be very eager indeed to ensure that they end up getting the kind of customization they need. One of the latest Facebook updates that has been rolled out is going to give users of the iPhone XS and other latest Apple phones customized resolutions that are going to be native to the phones that they are currently using. What this means is that apps getting launched on these phones will have resolutions that have specifically designed for those phones.
Previous Facebook apps were unable to fully utilize the resolutions that came with the iPhones XS Max and XR, which meant that about ten percent of the screen ended up not being efficiently utilized. This created a less than optimal user experience for people that might have been using Apple products. iPad Pro users can also enjoy a better optimized version because of the fact that the black bar that used to mar their user experience is no more. Facebook has updated their iPad app to use the screen resolution as optimally as possible.
