Thanks to Facebook, at last, they have given some attention to Messenger users. Now Facebook is expected to introduce a long-awaited feature that was already introduced in WhatsApp which allows sender sometimes to delete the message in Facebook Messenger. This feature was spotted by Matt Navarra that the feature is listed as “coming soon” in the release notes for version 191.0 of Messenger iOS client.
Unlike WhatsApp, it gives users ten minutes of time to delete the message. Though time is not enough to delete the messages like Whatsapp, but still it gives some life to the senders to delete the messages to avoid any embarrassment.
Though it was not a surprise as Facebook hinted this new features few months before, as Facebook admitted that it had been quietly deleting messages sent by its CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The functionality was first spotted in last month during testing the new version of messenger.
