Snapchat introduces a new feature, via which users will be able to send music GIFs to their followers, or upload them as stories, on the social network. Previously, only muted-GIFs were available to be forwarded.
Snapchat has always been reluctant in collaborating with third-party developers to bring new updates to the platform. However, the platform broke the record, when it signed up a contract with Snap Kit. Due to this partnership, Snapchat will become compatible with TuneMoji, which is an application for GIFs only. Like other popular similar platforms, TuneMoji also allows its users to search for, and then select required animations. However, there is one drawback. People cannot use these musical GIFs from within the messaging social media they are using; they will have to use TuneMoji for that. Moreover, users must have installed both Snapchat and TuneMoji on their smartphones to be able to enjoy this feature.
