Instagram tests a new "Recommended for You" section with a few users

Instagram is currently testing a new "recommended for you" section based on the people one follows on the platform.

With this expected new feature, after one has completed viewing all of his/her feed, he/she will see a "Recommended For You" tab. One can scroll further to see the suggested posts, and will also have the opportunity to follow the people whose posts they are viewing there and then.

Since this tool is in its initial stages of testing, it is only made available to a very few people.

Instagram in a blog post said:

“This test will be rolling out over the next few days. We’ll be making product revisions based on your feedback and hope to bring this to more people in the coming weeks.”
