Google is currently testing on the new Gmail design which is due to be rolled out in the coming weeks. The tech giant revealed its plans yesterday of launching new Gmail design for the web users which will be inclusive of some refined features of Google’s Material Design. Moreover, there will be plenty of new features which were formerly launched for Google’s Inbox.
Some of the new features (for Gmail users on the web) will also include:
- Smart replies
- Snooze (lets you temporary remove an email)
- Sidebar (along with an option of using Google’s calendar, note-taking app or other tasks)
The last option is perhaps the most effective one as the user will now be able to perform quite a few secondary tasks along with the email messages. In addition, Google will also offer three new layouts for the users to select from.
