CEO.com's annual report on the state of social media engagement among Fortune 500 CEOs is out! Take a look at some of the key findings below.
It's almost 2015 and CEOs are getting the message: sociability matters. According to new research from DOMO and CEO, more business leaders than ever are using social media to build their companies' brands. Here's what you need to know about what Fortune 500 CEOs are doing to shape their social presence.
• Ceo.com's research showed an up uptick in chief executive officers who had Twitter and Facebook accounts. LinkedIn, on other hand, didn't get as much love this year. In keeping with last year, Google+ remains a desolate wasteland.
• 68 percent of CEOs have no social presence on any major network (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ or Instagram).
• LinkedIn dominates as the "Entry Network" of choice among CEOs. Nearly half of all the CEOs are only on LinkedIn - presumably because of the unmistakable business benefits.
