87 percent of Millennials (age between 18 to 34) and 70 percent of Generation X (35+ years-old) used apps and social media sites (like Facebook, Twitter, GooglePlus) on their smartphone, according to the latest IDG Global Mobile Survey.
The research also found that 92% of millennials watch videos on smartphone compared with 68% of generation X.
Generation X and Millennials have equally migrated to smart devices, with 65% of 18 - 34 years old using a tablet simultaneously with another device, and generation X following closely at 60%.
