According to eConsultancy's report Email marketing industry Census 2014, US marketers claim that revenue from email marketing has increased proportionately by 28 percent in one years (2013 - 2014). While 68 percent companies rate email as their 'excellent' channel in terms of return-on-investment.
The fact that email has been around for over three decades doesn't mean that it is in the same primitive form as in 1971.
